About
- Helps displaced individuals and families in Los Angeles County create safe, fully furnished homes by providing essential furniture, household items, and home goods at no cost. The program supports people rebuilding after major life disruptions, including aging out of foster care, homelessness, housing instability, and disasters such as residential fires. Through community volunteers and donated furnishings, participants receive the resources needed to establish a stable home environment and move forward with dignity, healing, and long-term success.
Eligibility — Residency
- Applicant must be a recent survivor of a residential fire in Los Angeles County.
Eligibility — Other
- Applicant must be in urgent need of household essentials to safely and comfortably restart life.
Eligibility — Housing
- Applicant must have secured a new, long-term place to live.
Eligibility — Income
- Applicant must lack the resources to furnish the new residence.
