Beacon Pine Street Eaton Fire Affordable Housing

Beacon Housing’s Pine Street development in Altadena is planned to provide 14 units of affordable rental housing for very low-income families. The units are currently restricted to households displaced by the Eaton Fire, and eligible household income cannot exceed 50% of the applicable Area Median Income based on household size. Construction is currently anticipated to be completed by year-end 2026. The current public pathway is the Pine Notification List; this is not yet a general leasing application.

  • Applicant household must have been displaced by the Eaton Fire to qualify for Pine Street housing.

  • 14 affordable units; household rent and subsidy value will depend on final unit, income and leasing terms. (Monthly affordable rent benefit after a qualifying lease is executed.)
