- Provides free certified copies of birth, death, marriage and dissolution-of-marriage records lost because of the Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, Lidia or Woodley fires under the January 2025 Los Angeles County emergency.
Eligibility — Other
- Applicant must have lost the requested birth, death, marriage, or dissolution-of-marriage record as a result of the Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, Lidia, or Woodley Fire.
Benefits
- Normal replacement certificate fees are waived for qualifying disaster replacements. (One or more replacement records as needed, subject to eligibility and ordering rules.)

Documents needed
- Appropriate vital-record application
- Combined sworn statement declaring under penalty of perjury that you are a survivor
- State the applicable fire name on the application
- For mailed requests, mark the fire name on the envelope
