Eligibility — Residency

  • Property must be in the County jurisdiction covered by the fire-rebuild fee-relief program.

Eligibility — Family Status

  • Applicant must have owned and lived in the qualifying residence on/before 2025-01-07; certain trust beneficial owners may qualify, while LLC/corporate ownership does not.

Eligibility — Housing

  • Home must have been destroyed or irreparably damaged by the Eaton/Palisades fire and be rebuilt as a qualifying residential project.

Benefits

  • Varies by project; can include qualifying zoning review, building plan review, soils/geology, building permit/inspection, Fire Department and Public Health fees. (One project-based waiver/refund for qualifying rebuild fees.)
